The extensive remodel of this West Seattle residence transformed the faceted 1970’s home into a warm, modern space that celebrates the expansive views to the east of the Cascade Range and Elliot Bay. The open floor plan connects living spaces on multiple floors and focuses on the double height window wall that frames the breathtaking view. This project incorporated rain screen siding, innovative use of reclaimed end grain Douglas fir flooring and reused the original 1970’s gold painted spiral stair, now painted black. Completed while at JAS Design Build.
